Week 3

I didn't have my usual sync with Sagarika this week because she is busy with travelling interstate for work. She also informed me that StarMaster will begin hosting in-person meetings each week to implement academic reviews for the current educational content. Conveniently, they will be hosted on Fridays (one of my internship-allocated days) and at Melbourne Connect, in Carlton, which is thankfully easy for me to get to. I'm especially excited to meet the team in person and learn about the process behind these academic reviews. I am also hoping to learn a thing or two about space and the space industry, because I know nothing about it. Although we are working remotely, you can feel the energy of things ramping up at StarMaster as we edge closer to the launch date!

Instead of our meeting, I am going to send through an update on my progress to Sagarika at the end of the week. You can also read about it here...

Task progress

Jen has sent through the final brand guide that she has been working on now, so my work has been halted in a sense because I now need to go back and make changes to the design elements I previously used. Unexpectedly, it's been a bit of a tedious task of changing every font and colour according to the brand guide. But I anticipate that it will be a much smoother process now that the brand guide is established.

My Illustrator files are looking a little crazy now!

Business case

Following our conversation about the potential to use paid services for Miro and Canva, I sent through an informal business case to Sagarika:

It ended up being a lot more extensive than I thought it would! But I believe I covered the important points. Now we have to wait and see if one of them might be approved.
